News making the rounds indicates that KOK, as he is fondly called, has been romancing President Jonathan's administration before his appointment on Tuesday and has been one of the major liaisons between the Federal Government and Nollywood.
According
to entertainment website Nigeriafilms.com, veteran Nigerian actor, Kanayo O. Kanayo has been
handed an appointment by President Goodluck Jonathan as a board member of one
of the Federal Government's parastatals.
It says a statement signed by Secretary to the Government of the Federation,
Anyim Pius Anyim, confirmed Kanayo’s nomination as a member of the Nigerian National
Institute for Hospitality and Tourism Studies in Abuja, where members of other
