Wedding bells are ringing and Nollywwod actor, Chinedu Ikedieze, popularly known as Aki, is set to tie the knot with his sweetheart and fiancée Nneoma Nwaijah, on December 10, 2011 and this is no movie business.

According to information gleaned from Nigerian Entertainment Today, as real as life, one half of the ‘Aki and Paw Paw’ duo, known in Ghana mostly by the fun and pranks they create in Nigerian movies they star in, is confirmed to be finally settling down to become a husband.

According to the entertainment news website, the couple’s traditional engagement is scheduled for this month, November 26, 2011 and will take place in the bride-to-be’s hometown in Mbano, Imo State, Nigeria.

The diminutive actor, who together with his brother Osita Iheme popularly referred to as ‘Paw Paw’, have endeared themselves to many Ghanaian movie lovers, was in 2010 awarded an MFR National Honour in Nigeria.

Despite his fame and success as an actor, Chinedu Ikedieze has not been very lucky with a steady relationship and indeed is known to have gone through a string of unsuccessful relationships, including breaking off an engagement years back to a Delta State banker named Nkechi.

Ikedieze came into the limelight when he starred in the Nollywood movie Spanner as the character ‘Aki’ alongside Osita Iheme who played Paw Paw.
